BRIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Physics was started in the year 1969 with the broad vision of serving the students of backward region of Gondia and Bhandara districts. The college started functioning in the premises of N.M.D. College, Gondia. Now, the department has scenic campus, huge Laboratory infrastructure, and competent faculty members. It was the hard-work and sincere efforts of Teaching and Nonteaching staff, which has brought the laurel to the department. Headed by Dr. S.R. Chopane, the department today is an active beehive of learning and research. The department provides high quality under-graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs.  The department has specious, highly equipped, ICT enabled labs. The only department is having P.G. course in Physics in entire Gondia and Bhandara districts. Many student are placed in reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Adani etc.
