Student’s Placement & Career Guidance Cell

One of the main objective of D.B.Science College is that every student who graduates should become gainfully employed. Towards this end, “Students’ Placement & Career Guidance Cell”, is established. The cell works proactively throughout the year.

  • It looks after the things related to the placement and career guidance. It displays the information regarding the career opportunities available in various Government & Private Sectors to the exit level students. It informs various Technical / Professional Courses in reputed institutes. Cell provides the facility to interact with experts regarding career opportunities.
  • The placement cell forms linkages with the Human Resource divisions of suitable industries / organization. As per requirement of the industry / organization, cell informs and encourages the students for internship / interview / test.
  • It invites the various industries to conduct the campus interviews. A link is established with State employment Office and jointly arranges lectures on employment, self-employment and career in different sectors.
  • The cell provides information regarding vacancies in different organization, qualification needed & process of selection.
  • The cell gives full stress via IQAC to start short term job oriented course or certificate course in the different subject.
  • At every chance, the placement coordinator is recommended to attend any meeting or placement related any programme organised by any private or government agencies.
