A THREE-MEMBER National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer team visited the Dhote Bandhu Science College here for assessing the institute for re-accreditation.
The team comprises highly distinguished academicians like Dr Ranjit Verma, founder VC Munger University, Ex-Pro VC, Patna University as the Chairman, Dr. Gnana Prakash, Professor and Registrar University of Mysore as member coordinator and Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar as a member inspected the academic facilities available in the college.
They interacted with Dr. Anjan Naidu, Principal, and learnt about admission process, performance of students in examinations, research facilities, activities in departments, students and faculty achievements, research publications, and awards won by students and staff.
They visited all the departments and verified the records. They also reviewed the facilities available in sports, and library. The team enquired about the NCC and NSS activities. The peer team members interacted with students and received their feedbacks. Alumni and Parent-Teachers’ meetings were also reviewed.
Prof Dr. Dilip Choudhary, NAAC Coordinator, accompanied Peer team members in all the programmes.
