BRIEF OF THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Mathematics was established in 1969. The department of Mathematics holds laurels for meritoriously producing many Degree level batches. .
Earlier the department had started UG course BSc with subject option Chemistry, Physics, Electronics. Mathematics is being offered at UG level in five combinations with Chemistry ,Computer Science, Electronic. Applications intake capacity of 110 students. The retired teachers have taken efforts in developing the department.
At present in our department there are five subject groups i.e.

PCM : Physics and Chemistry 
CMP : Computer Science and Physics
ECOM : Electronic and Computer Science
PME : Physics and Electronic

This Department is the best place for students in love with both basic and applied aspects of plant sciences. The main mission of Department is to impart in-depth knowledge in the field of Botany to build scientific curiosity, research aptitude and make ready the students to face competitive exams and take up further studies.
